Dr Subhash Verma is LIT chairman

Senior BJP leader Dr Subhash Verma took over as the new chairman of Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) on Wednesday. Accompanied by district president of BJP Ravinder Arora and state treasurer Gurdev Sharma Debi, Dr Verma met LIT officials arrived at the office.
While offering sweets to the new chairman, BJP district chief said Dr Verma would formally assume office in the presence of Punjab Local Bodies Minister Anil Joshi on August 30. LIT officials – Executive Officer HS Chahal
and superintending engineers RK Garg and SS Jakhar, among others, extended a warm welcome to Dr Verma.
Others present were senior deputy mayor Sunita Aggarwal, deputy mayor RD Sharma, Kamal Chatley, Amit Gosain and Inder Aggarwal.
