Dr DS Mor, Director Principal of Chaudhary Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology (CDLSIET) at Panniwala Mota village has been accused of sexual harassment.
Following this, her placement agency has removed her from the institute. However, the agency maintains that she has been transferred to another institute.
Sanjay Rathee of the Public Security and Placements, said the woman has been shifted from CDLSIET in view of the vitiated atmosphere and she has not been able to join her new job due to holidays.
The woman reported the matter at the CM Window and the complaint came to the police for an inquiry.
SP Ashwin Shenvi said that they had received the woman’s complaint against Dr Mor and said the police was probing the allegations. “The Odhan SHO is investigating the matter,” he added.
Mor rubbished the allegations as false and fabricated. “She is neither an employee nor did she work under me. She was a steno- cum -clerk and had been working in the academic branch. During her tenure, she never came to my office or called me,” he maintained.
It was only after her agency transferred her to the IIT on June 22 that she started levelling “false charges” against him, he added. He said the woman was a leader of the outsourced employees who were trying to pressurize him for allowing them to mark their attendance on Saturdays which was a holiday.
