Forest Minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri has directed the Public Works Department (PWD) to improve black spots on the Bharmour-Hadsar portion of the Chamba-Bharmour highway to avoid any untoward incident during the famous Manimahesh pilgrimage commencing on September 5.

The PWD officials have been advised to deploy road construction machinery such as excavators, JCB machines on this portion of the highway so that debris and boulders falling from the hillside off and on during the rains could be cleared, he said.
