Evening laughter club inaugurated in P’kula

This evening was full of joy for the people at Model Park, Sector 20, Panchkula, as Janak Narula, a laughter trainer of Chandigarh, inaugurated the evening laughter club.

She is the elder sister of Dr Madan Kataria of Mumbai, a World renowned laughter yoga expert . She was accompanied by SC Kapoor, Ranjana Kapoor and JS Oberoi who taught various laughter therapy exercises to the people.

They demonstrated various techniques and explained various benefits of laughter therapy. As laughter is a big stress buster, Ranjana Kapoor with her distinct style kept the audience in good mood. Here the exercises like ‘lassi laughter’, hearty laughter, penguin laughter’, ‘Mirchi laughter’, horry laughter, train- laughter, aeroplane laughter, kite-flying laughter, appreciation laughter, greeting laughter were performed.

The session was attended by about 100 persons. For the benefit of the people, KD Pathak announced that initially these laughter sessions would be conducted here on every Monday and Friday from 5.30 to 6 pm free of charge. World Laughter Day which fall on the first Sunday of May, will be celebrated on May 1.
