The 10th annual conference of the Indian Stroke Association (INSC-2015) is being hosted in Chandigarh by the Department of Neurology, PGIMER. The conference will begin on March 13 and will continue till March 15.

The conference will cover an array of topics related to stroke of interest to both young and seasoned physicians. The peerless education programme will feature workshop/symposia on neurosonology, neurointervention and neuro nursing/rehabilitation, invited plenary lectures, sessions and scientific paper presentations.

Prof JS Chopra and Prof S Prabahakar, two senior neurologists from Chandigarh, will be honoured during the inaugural ceremony. The organising committee comprises of Prof Vivek Lal (organising chairman and Head of the Department of Neurology, PGIMER), Dr Dheeraj Khurana (organising secretary and in charge Stroke Services, PGIMER), Dr Sunil K Gupta (vice-chairman and Head of Department of Neurosurgery), Dr Parampreet Singh (treasurer and Additional Professor of Neurology), Dr Jeyraj Pandian, Dr Manish Modi and Dr Anu Gupta (scientific committee).
