Fog delays four trains

Chandigarh, December 8

Dense fog disrupted the rail traffic for the second consecutive day in the city. Four trains (two long-route trains) arrived late at the Chandigarh railway station. Morning Shatabdi train number 12011 reached one hour, 12 minutes late from its scheduled time of 11.05 am today and Jan Shatabdi 12058 was delayed by half an hour.

Two long-route trains 12231 Lucknow-Chandigarh was delayed by one-and-a-half hour from its scheduled time and 14888 Barmer-Kalka was delayed by 50 minutes from its scheduled time.

The Met Department has no good news for city residents, since the next three days, will be partly cloudy and foggy days are predicted.

This will decline the minimum temperature and the nights will be colder in the city. — TNS
