Garhwali film on graft in state releases on August 5

A Garhwali feature film directed by a Mussoorie resident, mentioning the 16 years of corruption in Uttarakhand since its formation in 2000, is scheduled to be released in several states on August 5.

The highlight of the film ‘Hello UK’ is the alleged sting operation on Chief Minister Harish Rawat negotiating a deal to buy support of rebel Congress MLAs in the state.

The film has all Bollywood ingredients, including humour, thrill, drama and action, along with several melodious songs which have been composed in the pure Garhwali folk music style.

Film director Pradeep Bhandari said the film would be released in Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi and several other states on the same day. He said the issue of corruption, objectives of formation of a separate state, disaster, migration and other social issues being faced by the state people had been raised in the film effectively and audience would appreciate the hardwork done behind it.

The film has been made under the banner of Manish Verma Home Entertainment Film Productions and the songs in the film have been sung by Gurmit Gusain and Vikas Bhardwaj.
