Dehradun, February 17
A Garhwali film, ‘Yakhi Ch Swarg’, was released at a function held at Hindi Bhavan here today. The film produced by Pavitra Communication is based on the life of a soldier and his struggle.
Director-cum-writer Nirmal Uniyal said, “Uttarakhand has many picturesque locations. The state government must come up with a film policy to attract filmmakers.”
Earlier, a CD of the film was released by Dr Aruna, OSD, Chief Minister, and Chandraveer Gayatri. Kanta Prased, secretary of the Uttarakhand Film and Television Association, Manoj Joshi, Garhwali singer Satendra Singh and Shrutesh Jaghav were present on the occasion.
