The Haryana Gau Sewa Aayog will prepare a list of gau rakshaks and issue identity cards to them. Stating this, Bhani Ram Mangla, chairman, Gau Sewa Aayog, said today they had been receiving complaints that some miscreants were committing crime in the name of ‘gau raksha’. “The government has constituted Haryana Cow Protection Task Force, which will provide support to the police and the administration instead of taking the law into their own hands,” he said. —OC
