A yajna was performed along with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra and Bhajan Sandhya for the peace and prosperity of people at Bal Shiksha Sadan today.
Students from Arya Kanya Gurukul Centre sang devotional hymns while Dr Annapurna elaborated the true meaning of Gayatri Mantra on the occasion.
She said the meaning of all mantras was inherent in Gayatri Mantra, thus providing joy and peace to mind, body and soul.
The devotees also participated in a havan programme and prayed for world peace and prosperity.
Bharat Bhushan, coordinator of the programme, thanked all devotees for attending yajna.
