Girls sizzle at Miss World Punjaban-2015 auditions
Ludhiana, March 17
Auditions for Miss World Punjaban-2015 was held at Nilibar showroom here today. Sixteen girls took part in it. The organiser, Jasmer Singh Dhatt, said this was a pageant to celebrate Punjabi culture. “Rather than just judging the beauty of the participants, the knowledge and passion for Punjabi culture and language of the participants is also judged during the event. Various rounds, including folk song, folk dance, etc are organised to shortlist candidates from the country and abroad as well,” he added.
Sonu Nilibar said the outfits for the pageant on March 21 were being designed at Nilibar. — TNS
