Gloom grips Brass village after 6 of family die in road accident

Karnal, March 1

A pall of gloom descended on Brass village of the district as the residents learnt about the death of six persons of a family in an accident that took place on Naraingarh-Sadhora road near Gadauli village in Ambala district on Wednesday morning.

As the bodies of Raj Kumar (42), Manu (40), Hukam Singh (36), Kama (35). Angrej Singh (30) and Sohan Lal (25) reached the village people thronged to their houses to pay their last respects to them.

They also consoled the family members and expressed grief.

The deceased persons were going to attend a marriage in Ambehta village in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. The car in which they were travelling had a head on collision with a dumper resulting.

Their last rites were performed in the evening.
