Delhi Public School (DPS), Dehradun, celebrated Grandparents Day today. The programme began with the lighting of lamp, followed by various dance performances and songs by little students of the junior section.
Students presented a skit to showcase the story of “Idgah” by Munshi Premchand. Grandparents got nostalgic and overwhelmed after watching the performances of children.

Director Vatsala Singh said, “What children need the most are essentials that their grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, lessons in life. Grandparents are a wonderful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and above all love”.
