GRD World, Nanhi Duniya celebrate festival of colours

Dehradun, March 5
GRD World School and Nanhi Dunya organised Holi Milan programmes here today. At GRD World School, Bhauwala, chairman Raja Singh, who himself participated in the Holi celebrations, referred to the importance of the festival in spreading sense of brotherhood and camaraderie. Schoolchildren gave a presentation on Brij Holi and staged a short skit on the importance of the occasion.
Principal of GRD World School RK Sharma, Himani Farasee, Preeti Bhatt, Lakshmi Kohli and Anuja Rawat attended the Holi Milan programme.
Another Holi Ustav programme was held at Nanhi Dunya here. Students at Nanhi Duniya made colourful rangolis. The other main attraction of the event was dance drama “Natwar ki Leela” presented by the children. Chief promoter of Nanhi Dunya Ulfat Goyal said the school was committed to the betterment of children.
