As many as 48 mobile towers having 3G facility and better signal will be provided to BSNL mobile users here.

This was stated by SK Gupta, Chief General Manager, Himachal Circle, at a press conference here yesterday. He inaugurated a BSNL Colony at Lahar village near here.

He said the BSNL had installed over 500 mobile towers in the state and was in the process of improving the power backup of towers. He said as many as 122 power equipments in the state had been augmented and the replacement of the remaining would also be done soon. The BSNL was set to provide Wi-Fi hot spots in the state.
