Chandigarh, June 17
Over 2,000 employee4s of the HMT, Pinjore, are waiting for their salaries for about one year.
In a representation submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Shivalik Vikas Manch has alleged that the employees were being made to suffer on account of the lopsided policies of the factory management. “The virtual denial of salaries to the employees has put financial strain on the employees and their families. The Centre must intervene with a special package to end the financial crunch of the factory,” demanded Vijay Bansal, manch president. —TNS
