The HP Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) is all set to take care of yatris arriving at Bharmour for Manimahesh pilgrimage, said HPTDC Chamba senior manager Sunil Kaul here today.
To provide a taste of various cuisines with a deep sense of hospitality, a team of managers and service providers from different units of the HPTDC at Chamba, Dalhousie, Khajjiar, Nurpur and Pong Dam complexes has reached Bharmaur.
“Helicopter service from Bharmaur to Gauri Kund has been arranged from the HPTDC hotel Gaurikund at Bharmaur”, Kaul told.
It takes six minutes to reach Gauri Kund from Bharmaur by helicopter. Keeping in view the short time the passengers have while boarding and alighting a “quick meal service” had been provided, he said.
“To ensure that the pilgrims coming back for yatra may not face any difficulty in searching accommodation, a booking counter has been set up at Gaurikund hotel where the booking of HPTDC units in Chamba district is being done”, Kaul stated.
The pilgrimage is slated to start from August 25.
