HUDA conducts draw of 899 plots

The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) on Thursday conducted the draw of 899 out of 1,135 plots in its Sectors 32 and 33 in Karnal
The allottees will have to wait for their plot number
As per HUDA officials, the High Court had reserved 236 plots for landowners and the case is pending
After the court’s direction, the plot numbers would be allotted
The draw was to be conducted on November 24, but due to the HC order it was cancelled as the landowners filed a case
The delay in draw had resulted in losses for the applicants as they had to pay extra interest on the money which the banks deposited with HUDA as earnest money
