Panchkula, April 21
Come 2018 and you will be able to build your house in HUDA Sector 30 of Pinjore, if you have a plot there.
The sector, Pinjore- Kalka urban complex, is in the process of being developed by the HUDA. Being close to industrial town Baddi, it will be a delight for those working in the town, as it does not have enough residential areas and thousands of people from Chandigarh and Panchkula visit the town for work.
The sector is just behind the HMT on the Pinjore-Nalagarh road. Spread over 193 acres, it has 1,000 residential plots which have already been allotted through lottery system. The sector has sites for educational and religious institutions, a park and a market. By the end of the current year, HUDA is likely to complete the road work, provide the power, water and sewer connections and other necessary facilities.
The sector has four-marla, six-marla, eight-marla, 10-marla, 16-marla and one-kanal plots. The plan for the sector was approved last year, while it was floated in 2015. After acquiring the land, the plots were sold to people via draw of lots, but the possession could be handed over only after developing the area. More than 170 acres of the planned area will be completed by the end of this year.
This is the first sector to be developed by HUDA in the Pinjore- Kalka urban complex. Preet Mohan, HUDA Chief Engineer, said: “The location of the sector is good, as it is close to Panchkula as well as Baddi.”
He said after this sector, HUDA would develop Sector 27 and 28 of Pinjore. He said the land for the same had already been acquired, but the approval of the layout plans was awaited.
