Indian Ambassador to Spain Vikram Misri called on Governor NN Vohra here today.
Misri told the Governor that J&K could benefit from collaborative arrangements with Spanish companies in identified fields as the state had enormous potential.
On learning about the possibility of saffron growers in J&K being able to raise the average yield in their farms, the Governor asked Misri to discuss the matter with the Commissioner, Agricultural Production, and other officials concerned.
The Governor hoped that Misri’s initiatives in J&K would bear early fruit on several fronts.
