Contractual employees of the Jal Sansthan held a protest rally in support of their demands here today. They said the state government took no action though they had submitted several memorandums to officials concerned and public representatives.

The agitated contractual employees under the aegis of the Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan Contractual Employees Association gathered at the Raipur bus stand and held a protest rally up to Secretariate. The protesters raised slogans against the government. The police had placed barricades and stopped them at the Kanak Chowk. The contractual employees sat on a dharna.
