Jammu, November 25

Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Danish Rana called on Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhawan here today and presented to him a copy of his recent novel, ‘Red Maize’.

Rana was accompanied by his wife Sarita Chouhan, a senior IAS officer.

The Governor complimented Rana for writing a book which sensitively deals with various issues arising from the situation which has prevailed in J&K in the past many years, said a Raj Bhawan spokesperson.

He wished Rana continuing high success in all his future literary endeavours, he added.
