Jind, July 4
Minister of State Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the state government would develop Jind like Gurgaon.
Bedi, who along with state BJP media in charge Rajiv Jain, was here today to attend the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected MC president Poonam Saini and vice-president Vinod Asuri, said the previous governments had discriminated with the district, but the BJP government would develop it in an exceptional way.
He said the government would set up industrial units in Jind which would provide jobs to youth. “The government will implement various welfare schemes for the public during the golden jubilee celebrations this year,” he said.
It was a matter of pride that gender ratio in the state was improving rapidly and it all happened due to the Beti Bachao-Beti Padao campaign of PM Narendra Modi.
Rajiv Jain, state BJP media in charge, who accompanied Bedi, said the government would install CCTV cameras in all cities so that the police could control the crime in a better way.“Instead of CFL lights, the government has decided to install LED lamps across the state and the work has been started in Panchkula district,” he said.
