Kalka-Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Express train chugs off

Kalka- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express train was inaugurated today through video conferencing by Railway minister Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the train directly from Kullu (HP) though remote control.
Ratan Lal Kataria, MP from Ambala, Latika Sharma, MLA Kalka, Gian Chand Gupta, MLA, Panchkula, hosted a flag ceremony at the Kalka Railway station. Kalka- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express no-14503 and 14504 would ply bi-weekly between Kalka and Katra.
It will depart from Kalka at 7 pm on Tuesday and Friday with 16 bogies, including five sleepers, 2AC, 3AC, 1second AC, 2 SLR(Guard) and 3 general boggies and will reach Katra at 7:50 am next day. It will leave from Katra on Wednesday and Saturday at 9:30 pm and reach Kalka at 4:45 pm.
