Karnal MC launches toll-free number for lodging complaints

The MC today launched an e-sewa kendra for tracking of grievances and a toll-free number 18001802700 for registration of complaints and suggestions.
Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, accompanied by MC Commissioner Sumedha Kataria, Senior Deputy Mayor Krishan Garg and other councillors, dedicated both the facilities to residents of the MC area.
Giving the details, Mayor said the toll free number would function round-the-clock and it would be manned during working hours, while after the office hours and on off days, it would be managed by the computer.
She said the residents could register their complaints in nine different disciplines related to sanitation, water supply, stray animal, death-birth registration and others, besides giving suggestions about park, sanitation and stray animals.
About the new e-sewa Kendra, Commissioner Kataria said a touch pad machine had been installed in the office and the residents could track their complaints easily if they don’t have the Internet facility at home. They could easily track the status of their file also, she added.
