Kejriwal in Dharamsala for meditation

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived here today for a 10-day meditation course. About 500 AAP party volunteers and leaders had gathered at the airport to get a glimpse of the party chief. Many media persons had also gathered to speak to him.
However, Aam Admi Party chief did not interact with any of the AAP party workers or media persons and left for the meditation centre. State president of the party Rajan Sushant and former district president Aman Guleria formally welcomed Kejriwal.
“Kejriwal has behaved as a VIP. We were expecting to interact with him but he did not pay any heed,” said an AAP worker who had come to the airport to welcome him. From Gaggal airport Kejriwal went directly to the Dharamsala Circuit House. He was accorded state guest status by the Himachal government. After having lunch, Kejriwal retired in CM suite. Only about two to three AAP party workers from Delhi were allowed entry into his suite. The Delhi CM was accompanied by about five security personal of Delhi police.
The AAP leaders from Himachal, including state president Rajan Sushant, kept cooling their heels in the waiting room till about 5.15 pm when he came out of his room. Kejriwal then directly headed to the Vipassana centre in Dharamkot village.
Bali accompanies Delhi CM
Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Transport and Technical Education, GS Bali accompanied Arvind Kejriwal on the flight to Dharamsala. At the airport GS Bali said that he interacted with Kejriwal during the flight and Kajriwal told him that he was at Dharamsala only for meditation and health gain. “I wished that he gains strength here to defeat BJP in Punjab,” said GS Bali.
