Magnetic Resonance Imagination 15-T(MRI) facility has been provided at BPS Government Women Medical College, Khanpur Kalan, at a cost of Rs 6 crore by a Bangalore-based company, Health Map Diagnostic.
The facility was made operational on a trial basis today at the college hospital by com-pany experts.
According to Dr RC Siwach, director of the college, the MRI facility in the institute will be available from Rs 1,800 to 6,000 against the market rates of Rs 5,500 to 15,000.
“It will also be provided at 50 per cent concession against the market rates to the patients from outside the institute,” he added.
“We are going to get CT scan facility also at the institute in the next 15 days,” he said, adding that these state-of-the-art facilities would be beneficial for MBBS students of the college.
He claimed that with these facilities the institute would prove a blessing for the patients in getting the best possible treatment at minimum cost.
