Khateeb first J-K youth to graduate from NID

Srinagar, January 20

Burhan-ud-din Khateeb, 24, has become the first student from the state to graduate from the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.

Khateeb (in pic) completed his graduation project on ‘Repositioning traditional exploration in paper machie craft of Kashmir’, a study, which he conducted in collaboration with the Craft Development Institute of J&K. He was awarded Bachelor of Design degree on Tuesday. — TNS
