Khushwant lit fest from October 9

Dedicated to the girlchild, fragile ecology of Kasauli and soldier, the 3rd Khushwant Singh Lit Fest will start from October 9 to 11 in Kasauli.

The fest will focus on the life of the celebrated columnist, writer and journalist Khushwant Singh. Niloufer Billimoria , daughter-in-law of Khushwant Singh, said the names of authors and other literary personalities, who would attend the 3-day event, were being finalised.

Since Khushwant Singh did a sizeable part of his writing in his Kasauli residence, Raj Villa, the family has been hosting this literary fest in this town which attracts noted literary personalities from India and abroad, including Pakistan.
