Kulraj Randhawa in city to promote ‘Needhi Singh’

Bubbly girl Kulraj Randhawa is all serious when she talks about her upcoming movie ‘Needhi Singh’. It is a story of a woman fighting with those who spoiled her life, she says.

Kulraj was in the city to promote her movie slated to be released on July 22.

“The film has a women-based subject and is based on a true incident. The girl suddenly changes after the incident in her life. From a nice girl, she becomes a woman who wants to take revenge on people who spoiled her life,” she said.

Randhawa said only education could change the mindset of people. Finance should be no hindrance for getting education, which should be available free of cost, particularly to girls.

“This picture has a female lead and I love to do challenging roles. I love doing something new; risk comes along. Taking risk is a part and parcel of our lives. Experimenting with something new involves risks and we should be ready for it,” she said.

A lot of theatre artistes worked in the film, she said.

The message in the film is that a woman is capable of fighting for her rights.

“The team behind the film has been working hard to give the prospective audiences a feel of what the film stands for,” she said before signing off.
