Ganga Dussehra was celebrated with religious fervour in Mussoorie today. Devotees lined up at various temples since early morning and offered their prayers to mark the occasion.

Members of the Landour Bazaar Satsang Mandal served chilled rose and lemon water drinks to the devotees and tourists at the gates of Ganesh Hotel to mark the occasion, providing them relief from the soaring temperatures here.

Gaurav Garg, Narendar Chhabra, Amir Ahmed, Sandeep Agarwal, Anil Arora, Neeraj Agarwal, Ramesh Goyal, Himanshu Katyar, Sardar Ravinder Singh etc cooperated in providing rose and lemon water to people.

Ganga Dussehra was also celebrated at Surkhanda Mata Temple in Kadhukhal near Dhanaulti, where the pilgrims, mostly villagers, from around the region, reached the temple to seek blessings of the goddess.

Special arrangements were made for pilgrims. Members of the Surkhanda Devi Temple Samiti said a ropeway will be installed soon from Kaddhukhal to the temple, which will make the journey much more convenient. At present, the devotees have to walk around 2 km uphill to the temple for darshan.
