City-based professor Dr Tripat Deep Singh Dua is going to make a presentation on the ‘concept of making an online resource for uniformity in international education’ at the forthcoming UN meeting to be held under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Alliance of Religions and Conservation (ARC) at Bristol in the UK.
The open working group on sustainable development goals of the United Nations had set 17 goals and invited proposals about ways of meeting these goals.
Dua, who is working as assistant professor at the Department of Computer Applications in the Guru Nanak Institute of Management Technology, said he had sent his proposal of resolving many challenges facing the world today through education to the UN after which he got the invitation for making a presentation.
This proposal is for making the world’s biggest ‘Integrated Auto Guided Educational and Career Designing Encyclopedia’ from September 7 to 10. Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations will be the chief guest on the occasion.
The team also submitted the proposal for the enhancement of IDIPIA portal at international level, that will serve quite a few goals set up by the UNDP, he said.
