Lord Rama showed the world how to live a balanced life, which never withered away from ideals and truth. The moral decadence society is going through can be stopped if we follow the ideals and life principles observed by Lord Rama.
Revered spiritual guru Murari Bapu said this during a spiritual and religious discourse at Parmarth Niketan Swargashram in Pauri district on the second day of the Shri Ram Katha today.
Swami Sukhdevanand Trust chairperson Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Asganand Saraswati, Ganga Action Family founder Swami Chidanand Muni Saraswati, sermon orator Chinmayanand Bapur and devotees from various parts of the country were present.
Yesterday, Ramdev, Parmarth Niketan ashram founder Swami Chidanand Muni Saraswati and Murari Bapu addressed the devotees at the inaugural sermon of the Shri Ram Katha.
Ramdev recalled the Shri Ram Katha he had heard at the Gangotri shrine in the Garhwal Himalayas from Murari Bapu and said that discourse had a major impact on his life.
Swami Chidanand Saraswati pointed out that the Shri Ram Katha was being organised on the second anniversary of the June flash floods in Uttarakhand. He thanked Murari Bapu for accepting the invitation to be the main orator.
Information commissioner Anil Kumar Sharma, Chief Minister’s OSD Anand Bahuguna, Shri Devi Sampad Mandal Raibareli spiritual guru Swami Jyotirmayanand Saraswati, Dev Bhoomi Uttaranchal Vyapar Udhyog Mandal president Raj Kumar Aggarwal, Swargashram manager SK Rai, Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati, Laxmi Saraswati and Ram Mahesh Mishra were present on the occasion.
