Abohar, November 15
Vinod Nayak (22) and his ‘beloved’ Rajbala (20) of Kanwali village near Hanumangarh died during treatment at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Rawatsar today.
Preliminary investigation indicated that Vinod had married someone else recently and Rajbala was to be married in next few days. Both were found missing at 2 am from their respective houses.
In the joint search by parents, both were found lying semi-unconscious in a field after consuming some poisonous substance. They were shifted to the hospital where Vinod died at 7 am and Rajbala at 9 am.
In another incident, the body of Vikram Bishnoi was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside his room in Takht Hazara village near Sadulshehar on the Abohar-Hanumangarh road today. A painter by profession, Vikram, was unable to find job and was depressed, his parents said.
