Maha Mritunjay Muth opened in Haridwar

The Maha Mritunjay Muth was inaugurated at Kankhal yesterday in the presence of saints and Akhada representatives.

Mahant Devanand Saraswati, national secretary of Shri Panch Dasnam Juna Akhada, said they were expecting people from across the country to come for spiritual bliss.

Acharya Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Gahanand Giri of Anand Akhada said the muth would become a centre of meditation dedicated to Lord Shiva.

He expressed hope that Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Yamunapuri of Shri Panch Dasnam Juna Akhada will take forward the tradition of the akhada and the muth.

Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Hari Chetanand Maharaj of Hari Har ashram urged devotees to give the same love and affection to their daughters as they give to their sons.

Shri Mahant Lalitanand Giri hoped that the muth would soon become a major religious and spiritual place in Haridwar.

Maha Mandaleshwar Umakantanand Saraswati, Maha Mandaleshwar Premanand, Swami Shivanand, Swami Uma Kantanand Saraswati, Shri Mahant Hari Giri, Prem Puri, Kedarpur, Maiwade national president Mahant Anna Purna Puri, Shri Panchayati Bada Akhada Udasin Kothari Mahant Mohan Das, Sukdhev Muni, Sunder Das, Prakash Muni, Ahil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad national spokesperson Baba Hatyogi, Swami Rishiswaranand, Mahant Durga Das, Mahant Kamal Das, Mahant Dinesh Das and Naya Akhada Udasin Mahant Mangal Das took part in the programme.
