Swami Kailashanand while addressing devotees on the temple premises here yesterday said worshipping Lord Shiva with devotion during the Shravan month paves the way for one’’s well being and spiritual blessing.

“Maha Rudrabhishek surely provides spiritual and material prosperity as desired by the devotee. The month of Shravan dedicated to Lord Shiva has immense significance for devotees who by offering holy Ganga jal, bilvapatra and other material with devotion to Him get the desired results,” he said.

He added during pious ‘Chaturmas’, Lord Shiva presides over the earth and his worship brings blessings of all other deities too.

Amid chanting of ‘’Bum Bum Bholey’’, Kanwariyas are taking a dip in the Ganga at the Neel Dhara ghat and paying obeisance at the revered shrine and offering Ganga jal at Shivalingams.

The Shri Dakshin Kali Peeth shrine was founded by noted spiritual saint Baba Kamraj Maharaj and his devotees from across the country come here to pay obeisance to Goddess Kali and Lord Shiva.
