Malout man goes missing

The 33-year-old Vikas Bhateja, nephew of the owner of Punjab Palace, Malout, has gone missing under mysterious circumstances since Monday night.

Though the police have started investigations, they failed to get any major clue.

As per the information given to the police, the family members said Vikram had left home in his Honda City (PB 30 G 5250), but did not return.

The police tracked his cell phone location which was found near Gidderbaha.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Muktsar, Kuldeep Chahal, said, “We are on the job. A Honda City was seen in the CCTV cameras installed, but its registration number could not be read.”

The police have not ruled out the possibility of a family dispute behind his disappearance.
