Maneka Gandhi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, was in Dharamsala on Tuesday. She will attend the Tibetan Democracy Day function at McLeodganj on Wednesday.

Stays away from media

The minister visited the Norbulingka Institute of Tibetan Arts. Maneka Gandhi took keen interest in Tibetan Thangka paintings depicting the Tibetan culture. She did not interact with the media.
