Certainly, he is more attractive and costlier than several models of swanky cars like BMW, Mercedez and Audi. His proud owner, Dr Jai Singh Cheema, has got a whopping offer of Rs 1.25 crore from businessmen of Gujarat and Nangal, but he is in no mood to part with his prized possession.

Meet India’s largest (as per claims of Dr Cheema) white-coloured Marwari stallion, Bahubali, who was cynosure of all eyes today during the livestock fair at Chappar Chiri village.

Seeing a large number of people all around, the 69-inch high Bahubali was evidently restless as people were seen clicking his photographs.

Dr Cheema said eight-year-old Bahubali was pride of his Baba Stud Farm, located at Shahpur village, Kurali. “We bought it a year ago with an objective of producing excellent Marwari horses. This is the first participation of Bahubali in such an event and he has been declared first in beauty and breed events”, said Dr Cheema.

He added that the average monthly maintenance expenses on the stallion were Rs 35,000. “We give him a special diet, consisting ‘choker’, grams, carrots and green fodder. Apart from that, he needs daily exercise, including seven to eight kilometers of running,” said Dr Cheema.
