Ludhiana, January 5
Amarjit Singh Sidhu, chairman of Milkfed, Punjab, today visited the local Verka Milk Plant.
During his maiden visit, Sidhu inspected the plant and expressed satisfaction over its working.
Plant chairman AS Bhangpur apprised the Milkfed chief of the achievements of the plant.
Addressing a gathering of employees and officials, Sidhu appreciated the efforts being made by the milk plant.
Sidhu assured all the employees that problems being faced by them will be redressed soon.
The official also appealed to the farming community to adopt dairy farming as a subsidiary occupation.
