With the police having failed to trace Polish national Bruno Muschalik (24), who has been reportedly missing since August 9, his father Piotr Muschalik today announced a reward of Rs 1.5 lakh for information on his son’s whereabouts.

Camping at Manali, Piotr said he would not return to his country till he traced his son. He also visited the Parbati valley to know his son’s whereabouts.

Piotr said Bruno visited India on July 31 and had to return on August 22. He said Bruno reached Manali from Jammu on August 7 and spent two nights in a private guest house. Bruno had planned a two-day trekking in the Parbati valley, but has been untraceable since August 9, he said.

He urged people to provide information about Bruno’s whereabouts, if any, to the Polish Consulate in India (+91 97 1130 4979) or at missingbruno2015@gmail.com.

Kullu Superintendent of Police Padam Chand said a team under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Police and the SDPO, Manali, was constituted to trace Bruno after getting information form the Poland Embassy on August 18.

He said the police had been investing the case thoroughly.
