SK Ahuja, chairman, Lions Club, Dehradun Elite, said Mrs Doon contest would be held for the first time in the city on October 11. He was addressing a press conference here today.

He said a total of 83 married women have registered their names for the event, which will see participants exhibiting their hidden talents.

DGP BS Sidhu will give away the prizes to the winners at the conclusion of the event, Ahuja added.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
