The police resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse a group of Sikhs who objected to a poster of upcoming film ‘Messenger of God’ (MSG) being placed on top of a dera follower’s house in Rajpura today. Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim features in the film.
The police reached the spot when a group of Sikhs allegedly threw stones at the house of Raj Kumar, who had erected the poster.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Yaspal Sharma said the protesters threatened Raj Kumar with dire consequences in case he did not remove the poster.
