Nagar kirtan in Mussoorie

An exhilarating display of gatka and rendering of shabad kirtan marked the nagar kirtan here today, which was taken out by the Gurdwara Sahib Dakra Samiti as part of Prakash Utsav of 10th Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh.
The procession was led by the Panj Pyaras. A pipe band called from Punjab was the main highlight.
Devotees cleaned the roads while on their way to the gurdwara. Langars (community kictchen) were organised at various places from where the procession passed. Devendar Pal, a member of the gurdwara committee, said the diwan at Gurdwara Sahib Dakra would be decorated on January 14.
Gurdwara Sahib Dakra Jathedar Amar Singh, pradhan Daleep Singh, general secretary Gurmeet Singh Kaith, Devendar Pal Singh and Sarvan Singh took part in the religious procession.
