It is not the first time when aspirants of any competitive examination reached late on the venue due to traffic chaos on the Ladhowal toll plaza.

Ironically, the authorities of the Construction Company are least bothered about the inconvenience being faced by the commuters. The highway authorities have no proper arrangements to tackle the traffic chaos. Even after daily hassle, they haven’t even increased the number of windows or use mobile billing machines for the benefit of commuters.

Earlier, the aspirants for Punjab Civil Services suffered a lot during their preliminary examination held at Chandigarh on December 12. The students reached late on the venue due to traffic congestion on the toll way.

Today, it was the turn of the aspirants appearing for thePunjab Pre-Medical Entrance Test (PMET) at Lovely Professional University in Phagwara. The heavy traffic jam at the toll plaza barrier, Ladhowal, forced them to rteach late on the spot.

However, the authorities of SOMA claimed that they had left open the barrier for an hour in the morning.
