NHPC women team win carrom tourney

NHPC won the 19th Inter Central Power Sector PSUs (ICPSU) Carrom Tournament at THDC Community Centre in Rishikesh today. A total of 60 matches were played in men and women categories. In the women’s section, NHPC stood first, THDC second and Power Grid team was declared third. In the men’s section, Ministry of Power team got the first place, Neepco second and CEA team stood third.

The 19th carrom tournament for ICPSU is being organised by THDCIL under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board. Muhar Mani, general manager, (Tehri-stage-I) was the chief guest and gave away prizes to the winners. Ten central power sector PSUs men carrom teams and six women teams participated in the event.
