Foreign players are no different from Indian players, the only difference is in the guidance and approach, said Tim Henman, former number four in World rankings. During a coaching camp conducted here today, the retired professional player maintained that the players in India need a good grooming for a bright future. “There is no dearth of talent but all one need is to concentrate on grooming the talent in right manner and directions. Children here are same as like their foreign counterparts while all they need is attention under expertise and experienced players,” said Henman.

The ace player who is in Chandigarh as a brand ambassador of Road top Wimbledon Series also maintained that he enjoys watching the courage of Indian players. “Such tournaments are a real talent hunt programmes that not only provide the players a platform to prove their mettle but also give chance to coaches to spot talent,” stated Tim.

Adding further, “These kind of coaching clinics also help the players and the professional coaches to fill in the gap between their respective approaches towards the game. The Indian side is slowly making fame in the world tennis and it’s also because of the increase interest,” said Henman.
