Dehradun, March 26
Political interference has given way to rules and regulations laid out in the newly drafted transfer policy of doctors, who were recently selected through the State Public Service Commission.
A total of 282 doctors were selected through the State Public Service Commission and they were to be transferred to places as laid down under the transfer policy.
It is learnt that far from adhering to the policy norms such as seniority, etc transfer policy is not being followed.
“A first list was issued and immediately replaced with the new list in which the places assigned are altogether different,” a doctor stated on the condition of anonymity.
It is learnt that the number of doctors who were to be posted in Chamoli, Champawat and Uttarkashi have been reduced, with the aim to increase the numbers in Dehradun.
