One dies as car falls into canal after bumping on speed hump

Ludhiana, May 19

A 24-year-old youth was killed when a car fell into Sidhwan Canal near Jhammat village this evening. The incident took place around 4 pm when three students of Guru Nanak Homoeopathic College were returning to their village Mohi. According to eyewitnesses, the car bumped on a speed-hump and fell into the Sidhwan Canal.

A passerby found the car sinking in the canal. Some passersby called up divers. Soon, the divers rescued all three boys and rushed them to Dayanand Medical Collage and Hospital (DMCH).
