Chamba, December 4
Following government directives, online submission of C-form of foreign tourists by the owners of hotels and guesthouses has been introduced in Chamba district this month.
The system has been introduced in order to keep the security agencies of Himachal Pradesh aware of the whereabouts of foreigners visiting the state.
A workshop to this effect was organised in the office of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to apprise the owners of the hotels and guesthouses about the modus operandi of the online system.
In the workshop, Additional Superintendent of Police Kulwant Thakur, along with Deputy Superintendent of Police, gave information about the submission of C-form of foreigners and S-form for students getting education in certain schools of the district.
The ASP exhorted the hoteliers present in the workshop to ensure implementation of the online system for registration of foreign tourists in their hotels, guesthouses and other related establishments during this month.
